FIT4REUSE technical meeting in Venice, Italy
FIT4REUSE members from UNIBO, NTUA, BIOAZUL S.L. and ISPRA participated in the technical meeting of the project on 10th September 2019 in Venice, Italy. The meeting was about the organization of WP8 and WP9 tasks.
The partners discussed important issues of the implementation of these work packages, such as the operation of the multi-level and multi-stakeholder platform, a tool that allows open discussion among partners and relevant stakeholders. The Water Reuse Forums will be held through this platform, which will be an environment of fruitful exchange and sharing of opinions, where different parties can equally participate and collaborate towards a public accepted use of non-conventional water resources.
Foresight exercise will analyze the current legislative framework addressing unconventional water treatment and application in the different participating countries and at the EU level. These will be implemented in Water Reuse Days, an annual event where the presentation of project results, pilot plants and progress of FIT4REUSE will take place. The Water Reuse Days will include also training activities, public debates and demonstrations. During the meeting, the dates and the organization of these Days were also discussed.
