FIT4REUSE project and objectives was presented in the EU Water Innovation Conference (EUWIC) 2019 which took place on 12 December 2019, in Zaragoza, Spain.
FIT4REUSE is a European project supported by the PRIMA Foundation, the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area, which aims to address the problem of diminishment of natural water resources within the context of circular economy. Our vision is to provide innovative, low-cost, safe sustainable solutions for water reuse in agriculture and aquifer recharge, by exploiting non-conventional water resources, namely treated wastewater and desalinated water.
The Conference was about speeding up neccessary actions to address the problem of water pollution and prepare EU to deal with water-related climate change impacts.
