FIT4REUSE project was presented at the online meeting on 19 March 2021 at the Water Europe Working Group on Water and Agrifood. In the meeting, policy makers and representatives of the industry participated.
The project aims to develop an Irrigation and Aquifer Guidelines for practitioners (farmers, irrigation communities, water operators, public administrations) to manage irrigation and recharge systems. With this activity, FIT4REUSE aims to face the water scarcity and poor water quality situation and to meet market, safety and consumer demands. The guidelines will consider relevant existing standards and will also seek to connect agriculture sector with policy objectives and scientist and technical developments.
